Consorzi Agrari d’Italia is the first fully integrated system at a national level. It combines​ the skills and capacity to promote products in the supply chains of Italy’s main agro-industrial group, BF S.p.A., with the local networks of the various consortia involved. The project relies on a network that produces 650 million Euros in annual revenue and involves over 11,000 members throughout the country.

CAI – Consorzi Agrari d’Italia is the first fully integrated system at a national level. It combines​ the skills and capacity to promote products in the supply chains of Italy’s main agro-industrial group, BF S.p.A., with the local networks of the various consortia involved.

Under this new scheme, farmers play a key role in a new model of development, based on innovation and sustainability.

The project involves a network that produces over 650 million Euros in annual revenue and includes more than 11,000 members, creating a real hub for large-scale production, by means of 180 agencies, 125 storage centres and 11 production sites throughout Italy.

The following are now part of CAI: BF S.p.A., Consorzio dell’Emilia, Consorzio del Tirreno, Central South Consortium and Adriatic Consortium.

CAI helps farming businesses with a development plan based on reducing the cost of technical equipment and means of production over the medium term.It offers comprehensive technical assistance, a huge network of products and services and methods to upgrade and promote iconic Italian-made products, creating agreements in the supply chain that showcase the work of producers on the markets and guarantee quality to the consumer.
