Stefano Mazzini, born in Cremona in 1970, recently assumed the new position of president of the Ocrim elderly workers group. Let’s retrace his career in Ocrim up to today.

In 1991, when he was just twenty-one, Stefano began his career at Ocrim as a purchasing officer until 1998, where he was transferred to the executive secretariat. In 2002 he became sales manager for Italy, North and Central Africa. A fundamental role that gave him the opportunity to discover his aptitude for sales and which led him, in 2010, to hold the position of commercial and marketing director. He still organizes and manages the sales area and coordinates the departments dedicated to after-sales customer service. For several years he has presided over the marketing direction, taking care of the corporate image, the organization of events – including our flagship “Grano, Farina, E…” and participation in the most important trade fairs in the sector. He has been and continues to be a speaker at various industry conferences, as well as professor for a day at the university of Cremona.

He has been a member of the GLAO since 2011 and has never missed an annual appointment which brings together Ocrim workers, employees and retirees belonging to this association, often also as a spokesperson for greetings from Ocrim boards director. It is precisely because he is aware of the spirit with which this group was formed that Stefano enthusiastically accepted the recent election as president. “I thank everyone, especially the outgoing president, Mr. Franco Schintu who – in addition to being an important figure for me during my career – has hold the key to the future of the group from 2011 to today. Many things have happened since I worked at Ocrim, but the spirit that has been handed down from generation to generation has remained the same. I had the opportunity to build my career through various experiences and working in different departments. Today I am the Ocrim commercial director and I owe all of this above all to expert and authoritative people who have allowed me to learn, teaching me how to be part of a large family, which is Ocrim. Many people are still with us, many others have passed away. But one thing is certain, without their contribution, I probably wouldn’t be here to tell you about it, and this is one of the reasons why I am honored to have been chosen to represent and lead the Ocrim elderly workers group”.

These are the words of Stefano, who although usually rides the stage, on this occasion, has revealed his emotion at the recognition. We are sure that he will also face this role with the same enthusiasm and passion that have distinguished his work for over 30 years.

Good luck Stefano!
