The cooperation of “Le Stagioni d’Italia” with Coldiretti and Legambiente is increasingly close. The Bonifiche Ferraresi’s brand has intensified its participation in the territorial initiatives of the associations that promote Italian agricultural, sustainable, tracked and zero km products.

In Ferrara With “Campagna Amica” Foundation, Promoted By Coldiretti

To the “Campagna Amica” network (over 9,000 direct sales points in Italy) was also joined the covered market of Ferrara, recently inaugurated in the unusual setting of the deconsecrated church of San Matteo del Soccorso. A unique opportunity for the citizens of the territory who can buy Italian zero km products directly from the farmers.

It could not miss the Bonifiche Ferraresi’s brand, the largest Italian farm that, within a few kilometres, cultivates more than 4,500 hectares distributed between two municipalities in the province of Ferrara, Jolanda di Savoia and Mirabello. The offer of “Le Stagioni d’Italia” is very wide and always richer: in addition to pasta, rice, cereals, herbal teas, legumes and oil, it has also recently introduced honey. Thanks to the presence of Bonifiche Ferraresi on the entire production chain, Le “Stagioni d’Italia” products represent a guarantee for all those consumers who are looking for unique values in food such as Italian origin, seasonality and ecosystem protection. A quality made possible by the presence of Bonifiche Ferraresi on the entire production chain, from the seed to the shelf, and which for a year the customers of the best retail stores have learned to appreciate.

At Rispescia (Grossetto, Italy) With Legambiente, A No-profit Association

From the 14th to the 18th of August, the 31st edition of Festambiente took place in the province of Grosseto, the national zero-impact event of Legambiente, always much awaited and followed by thousands of visitors. Environmental awareness and, in particular, the fight against climate change, were the central themes of this edition which was also attended by “Le Stagioni d’Italia”, as a partner and exhibitor. The partnership between Bonifiche Ferraresi and Legambiente dates back to 2016 when they created a common path to “cultivate sustainability” and that, in the following year, was formalized in a protocol to encourage sustainable agriculture and certified production of quality.

A further important step in this collaboration was the recent agreement with which Legambiente granted the use of the LAIQ (Legambiente for Italian Quality Agriculture) trademark on “Le Stagioni d’Italia” products. The label, present on the packaging of all the brand’s references, certifies that the company respects the production protocols aimed at eliminating chemical residues on agricultural products ready for consumption. A recognition granted to few companies and only after in-depth and constant audits carried out at the estates and the factories of the manufacturing company.

Lastly, Festambiente was also the ideal stage to promote the project “Eating well, does good – TarTaLove 2019”, launched last month by “Le Stagioni d’Italia” in partnership with Legambiente for the protection of sea turtles. Visitors were able to contribute concretely to the initiative by purchasing the Gift Box, the box of 9 “Le Stagioni d’Italia” products containing two packets of Senatore Cappelli pasta, a pack of IGP Rice, two packets of lentils, two different types of herbal teas, a bottle of extra-virgin olive oil and a jar of honey.
