Quezon City, Philippines – Universal Robina Corporation (URC) Flour Division. Ocrim is providing high-tech solutions for the new greenfield milling plantat Sariaya (Quezon Province, CALABARZON region). URC is one of the best-known flour producers in the Philippines, and has been active on the market for about fifty years. Ocrim is due to build two hard/softlines for its new plant, each with a production capacity of 660 T/24hr. The project has focused on the specific needs of the customer, using an innovative approach with regard to design, technology and technical input. The aim has been to use the best technology on the market, to meet the growing needs of the final consumer. Great attention has been paid to sanitation, food safety, energy savings, product quality and containment of maintenance costs. In line with the objectives of Industry 4.0, the entire process has been designed to be fully automated. This involves every aspect from the arrival of the wheat to the palletising and bagging of the flour and makes use of Ocrim’s special management@mill package.
